WHEN PLAYING SPORTS, 80% OF THE SENSORY INFORMATION SENT TO YOUR BRAIN COMES FROM THE EYES.
OUR MISSION
Our goal is to train and build visual and cognitive skills, starting with the very basics and working our way up. The training program was put together by Dr. Josh Patrick, who is a member of the International Sports Vision Association and has over a decade of experience in optometric practice and sports vision training.

We start with a visual performance analysis, where visual acuity, contrast sensitivity, stereo vision, eye dominance, depth perception, and eye tracking are recorded. These measurements are the foundation of sports vision training. This consultation does not replace the need for an athlete's annual comprehensive eye exam.

When it has been determined that the athlete has a solid visual foundation, an eight week training program will begin. Based on the athlete's preferred sport, eye-mind-body drills will be performed on a weekly basis under trainer supervision, including the Reflexion Edge, which is a large LED touchscreen that has been developed to enhance and refine crucial athlete skills.

Sports vision training is the final frontier of sports performance. Cardio work, agility/strength training, and nutrition are widely available to most of today's athletes. However, the eyes and mind, which are arguably the most important aspect of human performance that can be significantly improved, are largely ignored. Our program focuses on eye-mind-body connection and will provide a huge competitive advantage to our athletes.
THE PROGRAM
The first step in our program is making sure that each athlete has a good visual foundation. The eyes must be evaluated, both individually and together, before higher level training can begin. Once predetermined benchmarks are met, then drills tailored for each athlete's sport of choice and skill level can begin. We work to improve how quickly the brain can interpret a signal and decide what the appropriate action should be. In sports, quick decisions and accurate reactions result in better performance. Our program is essentially resistance training for the brain, which increases reaction times, sharpens focus, expands peripheral awareness, enhances multiple object tracking, and allows each athlete to slow the game down and achieve peak performance.
